Radios are expensive and unaffordable especially to individuals who have not received a salary or a pension in months and any meager savings are used for food or medicine. Daily, LSM receives requests for radios. The requests are numerous. Priority is given to blind persons, hospital patients, handicapped and bed-ridden individuals and others who are in difficult familial or financial situations. In some villages, it is this small radio that "preaches" the sermons, leads the Bible studies, and provides Christian music, through the broadcasts from LSM's radio stations. Galcom has been providing these fixed tuned radios for LSM's radio network for over 8 years. We are very grateful for their support.
