After the fall of Communism, a historic opportunity arose for Christian media to enter Romania with the Good News of Jesus Christ. The Little Samaritan Mission acted by obtaining radio licenses for broadcasting Christian radio throughout the country of Romania. In the year 2001, Audio Delta, the radio branch of the Little Samaritan Mission began the process of applying for as many radio licenses as possible. With the experience gained from operating the LSM radio network in Moldova since 1994, the project of radio expansion into Romania went forward and currently LSM owns and operates 25 radio stations for Christian broadcasting. Programming is primarily in the Romanian language but there is also music and programming in English especially targeting the younger generation of students, many of which are fluent in the English language.
